Infusion

Therapy
_______
Infusion therapy is the intravenous administration of essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Infusion therapy is administered right in our clinic in a relaxing environment by our professional, knowledgeable staff. Our registered nurse has completed additional training and is certified in both Heavy Metal Toxicology and Nutritional IV therapy.

Infusion therapy is useful because many of us don’t absorb oral vitamin and mineral supplementation well. Benefits of infusion therapy can include treating certain nutrient deficiencies, cleansing your body of toxins and free radicals, increasing energy levels, decreasing jet lag, improving immune function, promoting cardiovascular health, easing anxiety, and promoting relaxation. It can help you recover from a workout, enhance athletic performance, and improve the signs of aging, helping you to be your best beautiful.

Please see below for a list of infusions we currently offer. We make every effort to keep items in stock for infusion therapy, however, due to supply chain issues, there are at times, items on back order. Please check back with us often as we plan to continue to add infusions as things become available.

Prior to receiving infusion therapy, each client must have an appointment with Joyce Cox, CNP, for a complete health history and physical exam. Our infusions take approximately 1 ½ - 3 hours, depending on the type of infusion. Please come prepared with a book or something to keep you entertained. Feel free to bring your earbuds so you can listen to music or watch a movie if you prefer. We have wi-fi, snacks, filtered water and herbal tea available at no additional charge.

Infusion Therapy Q & A
_______

Immunity - Myers Cocktail

This is one of our most popular infusions, as it can help boost immune function and increase energy. Full of Vitamins B and C, Calcium, Magnesium, and Selenium, the Myers Cocktail will have you feeling unstoppable! Myers cocktail infusion starts at $130. Price increases incrementally as more Vitamin C is added.

Anxiety, Depression - Brain/Mood

The Brain/Mood infusion is like the Myers Cocktail with the added benefit of a mega-dose of B vitamins. Full of even more minerals and many more B vitamins, this infusion can help relieve anxiety and improve mood. The benefit of the added B vitamins can also help calm nerve-related pain. The Brain/Mood infusion is $130.

Headache, muscle cramps, insomnia - Magnesium

Magnesium can help with muscle aches, cramps, headaches, and sleep. The Magnesium infusion has between 1 and 3 grams of Magnesium, along with B complex and Vitamins B6 and B12. The cost of the Magnesium infusion is $85.

Weight loss - MIC

MICC (Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and Cyanocobalamin) is a powerful amino acid, vitamin, and antioxidant combination that includes Vitamin B12. This combination can be helpful in aiding in your weight loss efforts by helping your body break down and metabolize fats. It may also help people with kidney and liver disease, depression, and anxiety. The cost of the MICC infusion is $75.

Anti-Aging - Glutathione

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that is naturally produced by our bodies (but not in adequate amounts to keep up with the amount of toxins and pollutions we are constantly exposed to) and is present in almost every cell in our bodies.  It is a building block for essential amino acids. Its sulfur molecule acts like fly paper so that toxins in our bodies stick to it and are flushed out. Glutathione helps the immune system fight off infection.  It helps us reach optimal physical and mental function and it is a wonderful detoxifier.  As a dietary supplement, GSH (glutathione) possesses various systemic effects such as improvement of liver abnormalities, improvement of diabetic complications, protection from viral infection, and antitumor activity. It is even used to treat autism. (Taken from ncbi.nlm.nih.gov website). There is promising evidence that Glutathione also helps reduce the visible signs of aging by decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. Glutathione infusion alone is $95 or can be added at the end of many of our other infusions for $65.

Anti-inflammatory - Phosphatidylcholine (PTC)

PTC is the most essential phospholipid found in healthy cell membranes. Its the main component of lecithin. We make small amounts of lecithin naturally in our livers  but as we age, we produce less lecithin and less efficient phospholipids take their place, causing our bodies to hold onto toxins. PTC is also a good source of choline, which is the main component of acetylcholine, a powerful neurotransmitter, which is imperative for cognitive function. PTC makes up a large portion of the mucus that lines our digestive tract and the proteins that line our lungs. PTC is beneficial for anyone with age-related illnesses and inflammation from cell damage. It may help to repair liver damage, improve energy, improve brain health and cognition, decrease inflammation, and improve immune function. PTC infusions cost $140.

Heavy metal detoxification  Chelation

We offer chelation therapy using Disodium EDTA. EDTA is approved by the FDA only for the treatment of lead toxicity (in the form of calcium EDTA), digitalis toxicity and hypercalcemia (Sodium EDTA). However, many integrative practitioners have seen success using IV chelation for improvement in cardiovascular health, along with a wide array of other symptoms. Many people report an improvement in overall feeling of well-being. Symptom relief such as feeling less fatigued, less pain associated with poor circulation, and a decrease in blood pressure and blood sugar levels have been reported when receiving chelation. Chelation costs between $110 and $160.
